La Stanza delle Rose
Named for the climbing roses that frame its window, La Stanza delle Rose is the room that gave our hotel its name. Soft morning light filters through antique linen curtains, carrying the scent of the garden.
A sanctuary of five rooms in the Lombardy countryside — for those who seek stillness, beauty, and the unhurried pleasures of Italian life.
Hidden behind stone walls draped in climbing roses, Corte delle Rose has sheltered travellers since 1987. Our five rooms blend centuries-old architecture with discreet modern comfort — each one different, each one a private world.

Il Nido — the Nest. Tucked under original timber beams on the upper floor, this room has the quiet, enveloping quality of somewhere truly apart from the world. A double bed in hand-carved walnut, stone walls, and a view over the courtyard fountain.
La Loggia takes its name from the covered terrace that extends the room into the open Lombard sky. Mornings here begin with espresso and the sight of vineyard hills rolling to the horizon.
Franciacorta is Italy’s answer to Champagne — and we sit at its heart. Our partner estates are a 15-minute drive from the hotel, and our sommelier has hand-selected the best for an unhurried morning of tasting.
Learn more →Every morning at 9:00 AM, a guide leads a gentle 22km cycle from the hotel through vines, past the village of Erbusco, and along the southern shore of Lake Iseo before looping back.
Learn more →Maria has cooked in this kitchen for 31 years. She learned from her mother, who learned from hers — and for four hours on a Friday morning, she teaches guests the same.
Learn more →Lake Iseo — smaller than Como, less famous than Garda, and arguably more beautiful than either — lies 25 minutes from the hotel. We have arranged exclusive access to a restored 1960s Riva launch captained by a local.
Learn more →Corte delle Rose began as a farmhouse — a corte, in the Lombard dialect — belonging to the Ferretti family. When Maria and Luca Ferretti opened their doors to guests in 1987, they asked a single question: how would we want to be welcomed?
The answer still guides us. Fresh flowers from the garden in every room. Breakfast served when you wake, not when we decide. An unhurried pace. And always, the roses.

We arrived for two nights and stayed for five. The roses, the silence, the extraordinary kindness of the Ferretti family — Corte delle Rose is everything we had forgotten travel could be.— Sophie & Marc, Paris
